2. A Semantic Translation
Too long have I lived
With the legend of Adam and Eve, being now
An insufferable myth,
A new beginning is in order.
0 God, arrange a new fall The pristine glory may embark Again on a fresh journey And the joy of life be felt again.
Long have I waited for such a joy And my hands are raised For the same vigor of creation That once before they had And I had made magic a reality, A consort of enchanting syllables;
0 God, for a change, descend from that exalted Throne of otherness, and come Into my circle of reality;
So that words regain their incantation And sound and sense be one.
3. A Purely Inferential Translation
Renewal is timely,
Renewal is behovely.
The new dance won't begin,
If Thou art absent
From the halls of creation.
4. A Purely Interpretive Translation
Without His attention, neither poetic nor bio-historical creation is possible.
