The Armenian Museum of Ethnography

Levon Babavan

THE ARMENIAN Museum of Ethnography forms part of a memorial complex dedicated to the heroes of the Sardapat battle of 1918 against the Turks. The architectural complex, spread over a large area ten kilometres away from the city of Oktembryan, is situated on the very mound where the decisive battle took place. The spatial layout of the architectural monuments and symbolical sculptures has been designed as an integrated whole.
