ANURADHA KAPUR teaches at the National School of Drama. Her book Actors, Pilgrims, Kings and Gods: The Ramlila at Ramnagar is forthcoming from Seagull, Calcutta.

RUSTOM BHARUCHA is the author of Rehearsals of Revolution: Political Theatre of Bengal. His writings on the theatre have been published in journals like New Theatre Quarterly, Performing Arts Journal and Raritan. He has been actively involved in an international project of directing Kroetze's Request Concert in India, Indonesia and Japan.

VASUDHA DALMIA-LUDERTZ teaches at the University of Tubin-gen. West Germany. She has written extensively on modern Indian theatre.

ASHISH RAJADHYAKSHA is a film critic. He has written extensively on Ritwik Ghatak and edited anthologies on Indian cinema, including two volumes for the Pesaro Film Festival. Hejs a contributing editor to the British film journal Framework.
