Contributors MALINI BHATTACHARYA teaches English literature at the Jadavpur University, West Bengal. She is a poet in Bengali. S.P.GANGULY teaches Spanish language and literature at the Jawahar-lal Nehru University, New Delhi. REKHA KAMATH did her doctoral dissertation on Brecht from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. She now teaches at the Centre for German Studies there. ARUN KHOPKAR is a filmmaker. He teaches film history and aesthetics in Bombay and Pune. ASHISH RAJADHYAKSHA is a freelance journalist from Bombay. He has recently published a book titled Ritwik Ghatak: A Return to the Epic. KALPANA SAHNI teaches Russian language and literature at the Jawaharlal Nehru University. She has published a book of Tolstoy's writings, translated from the Russian. MADAN GOPAL SINGH is a research student at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, working on the history of Indian cinema. K.V.K. SUNDARAM has translated all the plays of Kalidasa from the Sanskrit into English.
