He is currently Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore. AJANTA SIRCAR has written a Ph.D. thesis at the University of East Anglia on Bombay cinema in the 80s. She is currently Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Studies in Social Sciences, Calcutta. K. SRILATA obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Hyderabad for her thesis on gender, print media and the Dravidian movement. She works with Malarchi, a women's organisation in Chennai. UMA MAHESWARI has been teaching English at St.Ann's College, Hyderabad. She is Research Assistant with the Centre for the Study of Culture and Society, Bangalore. JAYASREE KALATHIL is completing her Ph.D. at the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad. SATISH PODUVAL teaches in the Radio and TV department at the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad. VINOD PAVARALA teaches communication theory at the University of Hyderabad.
