"Yes., Jani.,.," and she bit her lip<

Still resting his eyes on Kalwant9 Iswar Singh took off his turban. Then he slapped her fleshy buttocks 9 and shaking his head is if in agreement with himself^, said9 "My mother-f••••.. mind has gone crazy,n Shaking his head made his long hair fall loose 5 and Kalwant Kaur began to comb it with her fingers,

By and by she paused and asked him again 9 "Where were you all these days 9 Iswar Jani?"

"In the c.o.-s...... whore housej" Iswar Singh glowered at her

for a moment; then suddenly he took hold of her big breasts with both hands and began to knead them with passion, "By the Guru^ name 9 you are a great woman.1"

Kalwant Kaur flirtatiously pushed away his hands and repeated her question^ "No. Swear to me where you werei Were you in the city?"

Iswar Sinjh wound his hair up in a large knot and answered 5 "No."

Kalwant Kaur began to lose her temper, "You must have gone to the city " and looted a lot that you1re trying to hide from

me^"

"So help me 9 I111 be a bastard if I^m not telling you the truth,1"

Kalwant Kaur was silent for a second 5 then flamed up, "But I just don't understand it at allj What happened that night?,, o when you were lying in bed with me,,.you had me put on all the jewelry you brought back from the raids in the city 9 and you were kissing me with such passion,..and then suddenly, God knows what happened to youj You got up 9 threw on your clothes and rushed out without saying a vordj"

The color drained from Iswar Singles face. Kalwant Kaur did not miss this changer she said 9 "See how pale you look 9 Iswar Syan; By the Guru^ truth 9 you're hiding something from me^"

"N09 I swear to you 5 Jani 9 nothing is wrong." .But Iswar Gingh^s voice had no convincing force 9 and Kalwant Kaur's suspicions deepened. Tightening her lips 9 she said — stressing every word — "Iswar Syan^ what is it? You are not the same man you were eight days ago,"

Iswar Singh jumped up in bed 9 as if attacked. He grabbed Kalwant Kaur in his strong arms and shook her wildly 9 "Jani9 I g^ the same Iswar Singhi I can still cool tlie blood in your bodyj You —"

Kalwant Kaur did not try to stop him^ but she kept insisting 9 "But what happened to you that night 9 Jani?"
