order and its ^stability" and "permanance,55 and against the Marxist analysis and assessment of general crisis of capitalism cannot hide the ugly truth of disintegration, and decay of capitalism. History during the last half a century and more has proved as to how monopoly capitalism or imperialism has generated two world wars, scores of national liberation wars and civil wars—all leading to the emergence of world socialist system, comprising of nearly 1250 million people. History has also proved as to how international imperialism has miserably failed to undo the gains of world socialism inspitc of its greater military and economic might, its monstrous military blocks such as NATO, SEATO, GENTO and the like, and inspite of the devastating wars it had conducted in Korea and Vietnam. Further, the world imperialists, with all their industrial and economic might, have failed to prevent the disintegration of the colonial order, and the emergence of new independent states—as many as 80 or more in different continents.

Huge military budgets of the USA and other capitalist states even in peace time; the use of one third or more of the industrial capacity for ' the production of war materials; the colossal growth of militarism and the ^ sizable recruitment of a part of the working population into the army and armament industries; the recurring crises for every three to-four years in the form of growing unemployment, ever-rising inflation, monetary crisis, fuel crisis; and the tremendous growth of multinational corporations, trusts and combines: all go to show how real is the general crisis of capitalism and how it is getting corroded by its internal contradictions.

The signing of the Paris peace agreement and the withdrawal of 'the U S Armies from the Indo-Chinese peninsula, and the extreme p3litical instability of most of the capitalist regimes like USA Britain, France, Italy and West Germany, demonstrate the truth of the general crisis of world capitalism.

The world socialist system and the forces of proletarian revolution and national liberation have never been so mighty and powerful as they are today. But at the same time the world socialist camp and the international communist movement at no stage of its development, was facing such deep crisis as it is going through at the present stage. This statement though paradoxical, is an undeniable fact of life that all of us are living through.

The world socialist camp and the communist movement is not only afflicted with right and 'left' opportunist deviations^ the deviations spearheaded by the two big communist parties of the big Socialist States of
