98. Kazi Imdadul Huq, Abdullah, Calcutta, 1925. In 1918, Kazi Imadadul Huq began to write this novel while he was in convalescent condition. Several chapters of this novel were published in the Moslem Bharat (edited by Mozammel Huq) in 1920. Altogether thirty chapters were published during the lifetime of the author. The remaining eleven chapters were published after his death. Kazi Imdadul Huq just prepared a draft of these eleven chapters. Depending on his draft Kazi Anwarul Kabir wrote chapters thirty one to forty one. These chapters were, however, chastened and corrected by poet Sahadat Husain.
