2 SOCIAL SCIENTIST

Those who dealt well with others, see how they have been dealt with; Sorely oppressed are they from the wheels of fortune, not a thread remains on their body.

This body of mine indeed has become a punishment on my head. I do not now fear death at all.

When I cease to breathe, the sorrow too will at last cease: For to live for me is to carry an unbearable burden.

What fear have you now Zafar, of the tumult of Last Day. Whatever

God wills, comes manifestly to pass.

We have the favour of our Prophet: he would help our cause.

- Bahadur Shah 'Zafar'
