icspectively. In the PSEG area Bhurnihars scored moie than Rajputs, Kayasthas, and Vaisyas. They are closely similar in attitude in the PSEG area to Brahmin., Backward^ and Harijan students. In the EEI area Bhumihar students were found to express more caste prejudice., their mean score being the highest. They differ significantly from the Rajput, Kayastha, Vaisya^ Backward and Harijan subjects in. this area (3 at <.01 and 2 at <.05 levels). In MIR and PQareaes Bhumihars differ significantly only from Brahmin and Rajput students In these areas they scored much less^ indicating that in marriage
