withering away of the State can be achieved only with the help of a different technological base. The technology that exists today may not prove detrimental in achieving the limited ideas of a socialistic society, but the transition from socialism to Communism is a qualitative leap which may demand a revolutionary change in man's attitude toward science, technology and the organisational basis of material production.
