Major Roles of Participants
- CSAL members select special projects and sister institutions in South Asia to join in Center
activities.
- The Executive Committee prepares proposals for special projects, seeks funding to support those
projects, and guides the projects.
- The Center for Research Libraries provides the administrative home for the CSAL's secretariat
and serves as the holding library for products produced under CSAL's special projects.
- South Asian sister institutions engage staff to carry out the CSAL projects
and oversee execution of special projects, under guidance from the Executive
Committee. The sister institutions work closely with CSAL in the subcontinent
to ensure maximal research support and information access for scholars.
