From the sixth movement, entitled PEOFLIGATE KRISHNA

Radha1s grief at separation is described to Krishna. The song is sung with gondakim. raga and rupdka fata.

She sees you everywhere in secret, Drinking honeyed wine from someone else^ lips.

Lord Krishna,

Radha pines in your place of love.

She rushes in her haste to meet your love. Her footsteps waver; she falls faint.

Lord Krishna,

Radha pines in your place of love.

Wearing bracelets she weaves from tender lotus shoots, She lives to enjoy the art of your love.

Lord Krishna,

Radha pines in your place of love.

Caught by the grace of her own ornaments, She fancies, n! am Krishna, the demon's foe.'*

Lord Krishna,

Radha pines in your place of love.

"Why won^t Krishna come quickly to meet my love?" She asks her friend.

Lord Krishna^

Radha pines in your place of love,

She embraces, she kisses the cloud-like forms Of the vast dark night. "Krishna has come," she says.

Lord Krishna,

Radha pines in your place of loveo

While you idle here, she forgets her shame — She laments, lies sobbing, dressed for her night of love.

Lord Krishna,

Radh5 pines tn yoar place of love.

Let Jayadeva^s song Bring joy to men who relish pure emotion.

Lord Krishna,

Radha pines in your place of love.
