From the twelfth and final movement 3 entitled DELIGHTED KRISHNA

Radha's triumph is Krishna^ passionate response. Lying with him in the disarray that follows love, she asks Krishna to help her dress. The song is sung with yamagiri raga and yati fata.

Krishna, ornament my breast with cool sandalwood on your hand. Paint a leaf design with musk here to make a vessel for the feast of love.

She asked Krishna,

dallying there, delighting her heart.

Lover, your lips smudged the bee-black kohl on my eye. Redraw the bow that shoots lovers dart.

She asked Krishna,

dallying there, delighting her heart.

Krishna 5 hand these earrings on my ears ~ Snares of love to hold the flashing brilliance of your antelope eyes.

She asked Krishna,

dallying there, delighting her heart,.

Comb the loose ±ock playing on my white lotus face, Like a glossy line of black bees across my brow.

She asked Krishna,

dallying there, delighting her heart.

Krishna, mark my brow with a soft moon spot of musk — The sweat of love is dried now on my forehead.

She asked Krishna 5

dallying there^ delighting her heart.

Krishna^ fix flowers in the silky hair your passion loosened ~

Flowing now like the fly-whisk on love's banner, outshining the peacock's

traiiio

She asked Krishna,

dallying there^ delighting her hear to

Krishna,, co\7er my full firm hips in a jewelled girdle and rich garments — A beautiful cavern for capturing love.

She asked Krishna,

dallying there, delighting her heart.

Open your heart to Jayadeva^s triumphant singing —

Memory of Krishna^s dancing feet cools the fever of living in this dark

time.

She asked Krishna,

dallying There, delighting her heart.
